How to Create an Irresistible Offer (Step by Step)
By Daniel Pope, founder of Be Known - helping businesses market since 2018
Short answer
An irresistible offer makes the result feel valuable, likely and fast while making the risk feel small. Build it by naming a specific dream outcome, listing the obstacles your buyer faces, turning each obstacle into a part of your solution, and adding an honest guarantee. The offer should be explainable in one sentence.
Step 1: Name the dream outcome
Be specific and measurable: 'Book 10 qualified calls a month' beats 'grow your business'.
Step 2: List every obstacle
Write down every reason your buyer hasn't reached that outcome yet - time, skill, confidence, tools, past failures.
Step 3: Turn obstacles into components
Each obstacle becomes a module, template, session or done-for-you piece. This is what makes the offer feel complete.
Step 4: Reduce risk
- A guarantee tied to action or results that you can honour.
- A smaller first step or trial.
- Real proof from past customers.
Step 5: Price on value
Compare your price to the value of the outcome and the cost of the problem, not to your hours.
Step 6: Write the one-line pitch
'[Offer name] helps [buyer] get [outcome] in [timeframe] without [pain] - or [guarantee].'

What makes an offer irresistible?
A clear, desirable result, believable proof, low risk and a price that feels small compared with the value.
Should I add bonuses?
Only bonuses that remove a real obstacle. Random extras make an offer feel cheaper, not better.
