High-Ticket Sales Call Script: A Simple 5-Part Framework
By Daniel Pope, founder of Be Known - helping businesses market since 2018
Short answer
A high-ticket sales call script is a guide for a conversation that helps a prospect decide whether a premium offer is right for them. A simple framework has five parts: set the agenda, discover their situation, agree on the gap, present the offer as the bridge, and ask for a decision. The prospect should talk most of the time.
The 5 parts
- Agenda (2 min): 'I'll ask a few questions, then if it makes sense I'll share how we help. Fair?'
- Discovery (20 min): where they are, what they've tried, what it's costing them.
- Gap (5 min): summarise current state vs desired state in their words.
- Offer (10 min): show only the parts that close their gap, then the price.
- Decision (5 min): 'Does this feel like the right next step for you?'
Great discovery questions
- What made you book this call now?
- What have you already tried?
- If nothing changes in six months, what happens?
- What would make this a clear yes for you?
Handling 'I need to think about it'
Ask what specifically they need to think about. It's usually money, timing or trust - answer that directly instead of pushing.
