Webinar Script Template: The 60-Minute Structure That Sells

By Daniel Pope, founder of Be Known - helping businesses market since 2018

    Short answer

A webinar script template is a timed outline that moves attendees from interest to a decision. A reliable 60-minute structure is: hook and promise (5 min), your story (5 min), three teaching points that break false beliefs (25 min), the offer (15 min), and Q&A with a close (10 min). Teach what to do; your offer helps them do it faster.

    The template with timings

    • 0-5 min - Hook: the big promise and who this is for.
    • 5-10 min - Story: how you discovered the method, briefly.
    • 10-35 min - Three secrets: each breaks one belief stopping them from buying.
    • 35-50 min - Offer: what it is, what's included, price, guarantee.
    • 50-60 min - Q&A and close: answer objections, repeat the next step.

    The three-secret structure

Secret 1 tackles the method ('this approach works'). Secret 2 tackles the person ('I can do it'). Secret 3 tackles outside obstacles ('nothing will stop me'). Each secret includes a short story or example.

    Common mistakes

    • Teaching too much detail so the offer feels unnecessary.
    • Pitching too late after people have left.
    • Rushing the price without restating value.
    • Using claims or results you can't verify.
